New Build Retaining Wall

Wigton, Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK

This construction of a new build house into a sloping site required the erection of an earth retaining wall to create a tiered internal floor layout.

YDC was employed to design and install a structural waterproofing system to the wall.

The wall received 2 forms of waterproofing.

1. A cavity drainage system location to the negative side of the structure.

2. A tanking membrane to become sandwiched into a new concrete wall.
