CEMENTITIOUS & POLYMER TANKING

CEMENTITIOUS TANKING

Cementitious tanking systems, also known as slurries, are a wide range of cement based blends that are capable of blocking the passage of water, even under pressure.

They can be designed to work as a positive or negative waterproofing barrier and are often used in conjunction with other methods of waterproofing to offer a greater level of protection.

Crystalline tanking products are excellent products for use on new concrete structures where they grow into the structure and create an unequalled bond.

Flexible cementitious systems are also available for structures susceptible to slight movement.

Cementitious tanking systems can be applied by brush, usually as a 2 coat system or for larger areas using a mortar spray.

POLYMER TANKING

Polymer tanking systems are a great way to cover large areas fast. They are usually designed to work as a positive waterproofing barrier making them ideal for decks and external waterproofing systems. They are often used in conjunction with other methods of waterproofing to offer a greater level of protection. Polymer systems usually offer more physical flexibility that cementitious systems and are ideal for waterproofing complex shapes.
