Structural waterproofing of basements within a large commercial building as part of a restaurant expansion.
Waterproofing Solution
YDC Basements were invited to design a suitable structural waterproofing system to allow the conversion of the cellars within a large commercial unit in Victoria Quarter, Leeds. A cavity drainage system was selected incorporating membranes, drainage channels and pump stations. Selected locations were also treated using polymer modified mineral tanking.
